blessed elements home made children bibs
I entertained my grand children for five days this week so I kept them crafting from morning until night. One of the favorite crafts we created was home made bibs from craft foam for our Spaghetti Evening. Both were proud of their home made bibs and thought using the craft foam was fun! They wanted to wear their unique home made bibs for breakfasts, lunches and suppers. It also kept their clothes clean and reduced the need to do laundry! They were easy to make and we just used the craft supplies from other craft projects we had in the household.
  • Craft Foam Sheets 9x12
  • Chenille ropes, ribbon, braided yarn for the ties on the bib
  • Pom poms
  • Glitter pens
  • Glue
  • Sequins
  • Buttons
  • Paper punch
  • Any other decoration you may have to use.
  • Scissors
  • An Imagination
Cut a piece of raffia the size of 3 1/2 inches long by 2 1/2 inches wide.

Cut the raffia in 5 even strips but leave an inch at the top that is not cut. Your strips will be 2 1/2 inches long.

Directions
I took a foam sheet for each child and cut an arch in the center for the neck. I punched two holes and threaded the chenille ropes through for the ties for the bibs. I then handed the bibs over to each child and let them decorated to their hearts desire with any craft supply I could find that they could glue onto their bib. The results were fun and each child was very pleased with their bib.
