Here is a fun craft that yields a neat effect and is simple to do. I've used this craft teaching a large size group and each jar looks different so it is a unique craft/gift

Supply List
• Masking tape (I prefer the narrow)
• Brown shoe polish (the liquid form works best)
• Jar (or any container you want to use)

Directions
Tear a piece (1/2" or an 1" in size) of masking tape off the roll and stick on the container. Continue to tear pieces off varying the sizes and overlap the pieces on the last portion of tape just applied. Continue to do this until the container is completely covered. Apply the brown shoe polish over the tape and let dry.

I once used this techniqe to cover the top of an old end table and it worked great until I could invest money to re finish it. So with this craft....the sky is the limit!
