If you thought Robert Rose publishers was just for food recipes then you are wrong. They also provide good recipes for health and beauty too. I received the 5-minute Facial Workout 30 exercises for a naturally beautiful face by Catherine Pez in exchange for my honest opinion in this review.

No matter how youthful you feel inwardly eventually age is going to start rearing its wrinkled head in your reflection in the mirror. Even if your a Spring Chicken

How many muscles are in your face?

There are actually more than 50 muscles in our faces. This book gives a general outline of them with photos to show you where they are located. I really thought that was helpful because I know the areas I want to work on so I could tell what muscles needed to be toned. I looked for the facial gymnastics that would help me with those areas

Establish A Routine

I honestly don’t think there are too many legitimate excuses for not devoting time to do facial workouts. It is not like appropriate clothes and shoes need to be purchased or finding a class and affording the fees that accompany it. 5-minutes is the only investment and it can even be done in a chair while relaxing. The added benefits of establishing a routine and doing it on a regular basis is that it will reflect the work in your complexion with the radiance of toned muscles and a youthful look.

I am over 50 so these exercises will help stimulate cell renewal. With hormone loss and gravity working against me my skin is loosing the elasticity I use to have. These exercises will help in blood circulation which will also help collagen increase which will make my face look fuller by the collagen filling in the wrinkles. The extra blood flow is giving my complexion a healthier glow.

Are These Exercises Just For Women?

No these exercises may be used for men as well. Men have thicker skin and oilier skin which helps their faces against premature wrinkling. Yet, men have the same muscle structure as women so these exercises will be beneficial to them as well. Wrinkles usually appear on men around the eyes and on the forehead and the book has some great exercises for those areas to restore a toner face and put the color back in those cheeks.

There are 30 exercises included in this book and also a self-massage and pinch techniques given to help reduce your stress, give you a healthier facial glow and feel better about yourself. All you have to do is provide the time to do it and the desire to have a more youthful appearance.

    This is great! We don’t realize how much stress and tension we hold in our face. This is a great way to relieve it!

    I can use all the exercise I can get, even in my face muscles! I am floored by how different my skin is just in the past two years. I plan on following your great tips, hopefully I can still have that spring chicken look!! đŸ™‚
