It is small in size measuring appx. 5.2 x 5.2 x 0.6 inches yet fascinating enough that an adult may learn a thing or two and kids are going to be fascinated with this book.

The illustrations are colorful and detailed. The book has some great information in it about ants that small children will love and older kids will be intrigued by it as well.

This book would be helpful with my daughter because she is scared of ants. I think if she knew more about them that it may ease the fear a little. Perfect timing by the way, they are everywhere.
