Chengdu Could Not, Would Not Fall Asleep.

Does Anyone At Your House Have Problems Falling Asleep?

We have all had the experience of not being able to fall asleep. Most of us have had the experience of owning a child that either could not fall asleep or fought falling asleep. This is a great book to read to a child who seems to be having problems with sleeping.

I really liked the book and think my youngest grandson, who use to be one of those that could not would not fall asleep, will become the next fan of Chengdu.

Chengdu is a Panda who lives in a bamboo grove and it was a lovely night and quiet as everyone in the grove was asleep. Everyone except Chengdu, that is!

As I read the book I caught myself nodding to the familiar attempts that Chengdu uses to try to fall asleep. Children will enjoy listening to the rhythmic dialogue of this book as I found the way it written rather relaxing. Some of the pages are cleverly designed to show Chengdu crawling up a branch to find the perfect spot to sleep.

Chengdu is a hard back book suggested for children ages 3-5 and has 48 pages.
You can pre-order this book on Amazon as the release date is May 6, 2014

It is a great picture book as well as story book and I think it would be a lovely addition to any summer reading list and fun to include while exploring panda bear facts and learning about what they eat and where they live.

Well I just like it because it’s a panda. Anything at all that has pandas in it makes my daughter do flips. :) She could read it to her little brother, and that’d be nice for both of them. It sounds like a nice book for the littles!

I love great kids books. My six year old sleeps awesome but my one year old is sleeping terribly right now. Which means I am sleeping terrible! :(

Sounds like a sweet little book. Sometimes my toddler daughter has trouble falling asleep, so this book would be good to read to her.

My son is 12 and has autism. He has a lot of sleep issues, including insomnia. This sounds like a cute book for him.
