September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
Cancer is always such a frightful disease for any age to deal with and it affects not only the victim but the family and friends of those that are involved. Cancer is not selective on whose body it invades and several times children are among those that are afflicted with this terrible disease.
Fear is always the first to strike the hearts of those dealing with the disease and those that are family and friends.
The company ‘Nightmare Nibbler’ is very familiar with dealing with fear and coming to the rescue to ease the panic that is brought on by this powerful emotion. The company is lending support to those children diagnosed with cancer with their Nightmare Nibbler plush toy. Norbert the Nighttime Nibbler has been helping children combat the fear of the darkness and eating away on the monsters that stalk them in the night. Combating fear is something he is good at while defending a child.
They are giving back to their community but supporting Childhood Cancer Awareness Month with the same plush toy that has been helping children with their fear of the night.
For every Nightmare Nibbler plush toy purchased from their online store they will donate one Nibbler to a child facing critical illness at Children’s Hospital at London Health Sciences Centre.

What a lovely program and cause. I know I’ve spent many a night comforting one of my children from a nightmare, the Nightmare Nibbler would have been a very welcome support tool.
