The grand kids are back home and I’m worn out by entertaining and running places so I decided it was time to reward myself to something special.
I’ve read about Daily’s Cocktails on other blogs and was given the opportunity to try them for myself. I decided their Frozen Pouches they have available was just what I needed.
I enjoy a mixed drink from time to time but rarely go out and buy the liquor and all the essential to make mixed drinks. The fact that these Daily’s Cocktails Frozen Packages already had everything in them and there was no need to buy anything extra seemed right up my alley.
I stopped at my local Walmart and found them in the alcohol section in the pouches for me to take home and put in the freezer. I had fun choosing from the variety they had there but finally selected my favorites plus a ‘Light Calorie Strawberry Margarita’ that I thought would be great to watch my calorie intake but still enjoy a drink. Each were $1.88 so I thought the price was right as well.
I came home and popped a couple in the freezer to enjoy later. My son came over and I told him about them and he too thought it was a good idea to have on hand.
I finished some chores and took one out of the freezer to enjoy and went outside to sit and to my surprise…..

My Light Calorie Strawberry Margarita was already being enjoyed by my son even before it was frozen! I asked him if he could tell it was a light drink and he said it tasted like a regular one to him. I wondered when I poured my Frozen Peach Daiquiri in the glass if it would have very much alcohol in it or if it would just be a sweet drink. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted just like the Peach Daiquiris I’ve had before at restaurants. In fact each pouches contain 5% alcohol by volume, which is about the same amount of alcohol found in most drinks prepared by scratch.
These are really perfect for us to keep on hand as I can keep them in the freezer to have when ever I choose. My son said the Strawberry Margarita was great and he is a professional bartender so he should know what he is talking about and I loved the peach daiquiri and am anxious to taste the rest.
Even though it will still be hot here in Florida for a while and we will be enjoying our frozen drinks, I noticed Daily’s Cocktails has hard cider and spiced sangria to enjoy for the fall months when the weather turns chilly. For even more fun they have a page of recipes on their site.

I love frozen drinks! And they usually take so much time to make, and there’s always such a huge mess to clean up and this seems like a fast, easy way to have a great tasting frozen drink without the cleanup!
I love them, too… so simple and a quick reward after a busy day…. glad you enjoyed them, too; my favorite is the Pina Colada…Yummm…. Ohhh I can’t wait for the Fall flavors to show up…. :0)

Wow! This sounds very nice. I had not heard of it before your giveaway. Raising 3 boys alone doesn’t give me time to mix any frozen drinks when night falls. This would help that very much.

I know I would like the Dailys Cocktails because I’ve had the original margarita flavor several times and love it! I need to venture out and try the other flavors, but when you’ve got something good going…….why change it?

I already drink them and I love there pomegranate acai margarita. So convient quick and easy. And taste way better than another brand out there that does them too.

I did not know they had light drinks! They must not carry them at my local grocery store. I’m pre-diabetic so light/sugar free is for me!
