Let’s Plant A Seed with @IDontStink

The Power of Stink Thoughts

I’m a positive thinker! It does work and it takes work. You don’t read a book and then it just materializes, I’m not going to lie about it, it takes practice. Cool stuff does start happening though as you start becoming more aware of what is going on in your life, the power of the creator (universal flow), and old mind sets that stifle you.

I’ll give you a Grace story to drill in the point.
I was driving the other day and got excited about helping out on this one event. I even determined that I would focus on attending the event and help in person. I was happy and anything was possible. I was BLESSED!!!

I parked the car and I noticed a puff of smoke come from my engine. My heart fell to my stomach. ‘Car Problems’. My thoughts shifted to ‘why do bad things always happen when I’m happy and motivated?’ I thought how devastating it would be to my life if my car quit running, my dreams of helping in person on the event dwindled with disappointment.

I opened the hood of the car but saw nothing. No smoke, no hoses on fire…nothing. Once in side the store I began to think about the situation.
I was still just as blessed as I was before seeing the car smoke. Nothing had changed that. (except my point of view and what I chose to focus on in my life. I was focusing on stink thoughts)

I continued finishing my errands and got back in the car. No problems and I got back home safely told my husband about it and he went out and fixed the problem.

I learned an important lesson. Don’t let your positive outlook go up in smoke. Continue to focus on them. Plant a seed and let it grow. Water the seed and don’t feed the pests that want to eat the seed.

Here is a great post by my friend Bill King on planting a seed. I hope you take time to read it.

Oh a positive outlook is such a game changer. I notice that if I am in a bad mood it is infectious. Soon the whole house is in a rotten mood. When I decide to shove out that nastiness then everyone follows suit.
