Lincoln, First Glimps of the Movie Trailer

Lincoln has always been a fascinating man to me and I’ve read a lot of books about him. Those books that paint him as a hero and those that cast an unfavorable light on his character.

Regardless what any one wants to believe he is a man that took on a huge task of of mending wounds in his country and reuniting them as a country under one flag.

He became aware and sensitive to the plight of the Black individuals forced into slavery to a country that proclaimed freedom for all. Although rejecting the tolerance to slavery in a culture he grew up in he understood both sides. The mind set of those buried by their culture that made it alright to enslave an individual and also the mindset of the enlightened individuals that risked their status in their communities and their lives for the freedom of every man despite their color. It was a blessing and a curse but he fought the fight.

I believe this movie will illuminate the true man and I can not wait to see it as it depicts his tumultuous final months in office.
Here is the official trailer of Lincoln. LINCOLN arrives in theaters November 9th (Limited) and Nationwide November 16th!
