I LOVE history and I have always been fascinated by the life of Abraham Lincoln, 16th President of the United States.
I’m sure you can guess that I am super excited about seeing this movie directed by Steven Spielberg and starting the Academy Award winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,”

This will be a unique film as this film is a drama that focuses on the final months while in office. I can only imagine how tumultuous those final months were with our nation divided by the Civil War and all the changes that were taking place because of it.
This movie will show how Lincoln pursues a plan to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. I feel this movie will show Lincoln’s moral courage and determined spirit to succeed. These choices that he makes effected the growth and development of our country and citizens.
Starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Sally Field, David Strathairn, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, James Spader, Hal Holbrook and Tommy Lee Jones, “Lincoln” is produced by Steven Spielberg and Kathleen Kennedy, with a screenplay by Tony Kushner, based in part on the book “Team of Rivals: The Political Genius of Abraham Lincoln” by Doris Kearns Goodwin.
This is a DreamWorks Pictures/Twentieth Century Fox film and will be released in the U.S. theaters exclusively on November 9, 2012 with expansion on November 16th, 2012
