Author Sharon Cramer is back with another endearing book for children and parents as well! MARLOW and the MONSTER
Marlow is a little boy with a problem. He has a pesky monster that will not leave him alone! Neither his mom or dad believe him that the monster visits him nightly and gets him in trouble with all his silliness!

What is Marlow suppose to do?
He has a nightly visiting monster that Marlow considers more of an inconvenience then having feelings based in fear?
Getting no results in trying to talk to his mom and dad he does what any big brother would do….He gives the monster to his little sister, Sarah.
Sarah is first afraid of the monster but then sees him as someone not scary, annoying, or pesky. She sees the Monster in a new light which inspires Marlow to change his opinion of the monster too.
By the end of the book parents will see monsters that often hide under their children’s’ beds and in closet in a new light not as a problem but a teaching aid for their children in how to deal with their imaginations and these creatures in a totally new way.
I enjoyed reading this book and as always Sharon Cramer’s artwork is wonderful! After reading this book I too saw monsters in a new light and not as challenges to face to soothe children’s fears but a new approach to teach them to tame those nightly visitors.
You can receive your copy here.
On 8/13 until 8/18 you can receive this as an E-book for free

This reminds me of the movie Little Monsters – one of my favs. I bet all my kids would enjoy this book
I like the use of colors in this book. The monster stands out so much while the rest of the world is darker.
This book looks wonderful! Would be perfect for my nephews! Thanks for the intro

Too cute! This would be a great gift for my nephew, thanks for posting about it.
cute! My daughter is a little old for this but given her insistance that I MUST close her closet door at night, I think she might need to hear the message!
What a cute book. I think this would be excellent for kids who are afraid of the dark.
Sounds like a great book for my toddler!
So cute! Will have to recommend this one at our next library meeting.
