Saturday my grand-daughter and I traveled to Downtown Disney to view the premier showing of “Secret Of The Wings.” at the AMC Downtown Disney 24 theater. It was the first time Miss B had been to Downtown Disney. She is a big ‘Tinkerbell’ fan as well so she was really excited!

The movie color and quality was absolutely stunning and the 3D effects were extremely well done and enhanced the movie experience.
Before the movie started I took a picture of Miss B in her cool 3D shades.

The story plot was original and entertaining. There were even some side story plots intertwined in the story to reveal more in-depth looks into Lord Milori (Timothy Dalton), the Lord of Winter and Queen Clarion (Anjelica Huston) the queen of Pixie Hollow.
Entertaining is the first thing that comes to mind when describing this movie. Several funny, endearing and heartfelt scenes were sprinkled in throughout the movie which made it fun to watch. It was over before we wanted it to end which is a trait of all great shows.
After the movie I decided to keep the Disney Magic going and Miss B and I walked around the town to discover some more fun spots and points of interest.

We found the Candy Cauldron filled with wonderful treats and fantastically enhanced candy apples!

It was a hard decision but Miss B finally decided upon a Micky styled apple covered in chocolate with Reece pants. She said it was the BEST Apple EVER! so I guess it tasted as good as it looked

The clerk was kind enough to give Miss B a metal button pin that said “I’m Celebrating!” to make her shopping trip even more fun.
I’ll be getting this DVD for our movie shelf so Miss B and I can share the memories of the day we spent together.

October 23 is the release date of “SECRET OF THE WINGS” on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray Hi-Def & DVD

Disney certainly does create the magic but it is grandmas that make it the memories. This movie has my ‘Grandma Stamp of Approval’ and I highly recommend purchasing this for your child or grand child to watch together and create your own memories!

Ohhh you are certainly Grandma of the year with this one; what a wonderful treat for both you and your super cute grand-daughter. Soo jealous, this looks like a super cute movie and I can’t wait to take my little Princess to Walmart on release day so we can to see it.
What a great day! Sorta jelly
Looking forward to the release.
What a lovely day you spent, you certainly are a fun grandmother! I think I’ll have to pick this one up for my granddaughter for the holidays… so I can watch it, too
I bet she will remember this for a long time to come. What fun!
Awe, how fun! What a great day to spend together!
This looks so cute! Glad you guys had so much fun.
How cool!!! You guys are so lucky to get to attend things like that!!!
Maybe I’m weird, but we haven’t watched any Disney movies yet.
Your review is encouraging me to get this DVD.
I didn’t realize that was a 3D film. It sounds really cute, and I love that you made a fun day of it!
I got to see the film in 3D on a recent trip to LA and I fell in love with it! It’s an adorable movie and I love that it was fun for me as well as kids!
How cute is this! Looks like Miss B. had an awesome evening.
Oh, my daughter can’t wait to see this movie. She keeps asking us when it will be shown already and we just have to say you have to wait. I do want to see it as well. I love Tinkerbell myself. It looks like all of you had a great time. Thanks for sharing
Your granddaughter is so lucky to have a fun and healthy grandma who can take her out to do fun things like this.
I found that videos were the one of the best toys that I purchased for my children as they watched them over and over again. This one looks great
Looks like a fun movie!
Sounds like a great time. My family and I have always been big Disney fans and made many trips there.
