Spot It! Halloween. Perfect For Halloween Parties & Two Up For Grabs @spotitgame

Most know by now that I go all out to make special moments with my grand children. Each moment is an opportunity to make a memory!
Halloween of course is one of my favorites and we make food, snacks, watch movies and play games for our Halloween celebration together.

This year we will be playing Spot it! Halloween. They love the original Spot It! so I knew they would really think this one would be fun with the Halloween theme of monsters, spooky trees and ghosts on the cards. We tested the game out when they were here last week.

The rules are pretty simple and this is a great party game as it can be played with 2 to 8 players and recommended for ages 6 and up. Mr. L. is only 5 but I knew he would do fine because he is sharp (sharper than grandma in this game too.) and the playing time is 30 Minutes or Less so it kept his attention.
spot it
There are 57 symbols 55 cards with 8 symbols per card. There is always one matching symbol between any 2 cards in the game.

Spotit

Can you spot the two matching symbols?

There are 5 different mini games you can play. We played it by setting the deck of cards in the middle and each one took a card from the stack and turned it over at the same time. At first we let Mr. L. turn his card over a little before us so he to give him a head start advantage. Who ever saw the same symbol on their card and called it out correctly got to put it in their pile.

As the game continued Mr. L was doing so well we had him turn his card up at the same time of us.

I tried to talk them in to giving me a head start but I got no takers on that idea. Believe me these little kids are sharp and being the oldest gave me no advantages at all!
