Stickeez Clutch and Glitter Petz Luna

One of my memories as a mother was the constant request from one of my children if they could open one of their gifts before Christmas. The thoughts of unopened gifts seems to be daunting for a child and the anticipation of waiting til the day to open presents adds the antsy feelings of impatience.
I always held a few gifts back for those times when they were young and I’m carrying on that tradition with my grand kids. The gifts I pick for this occasion are those that will keep them busy for the time being.
Sometimes it is a gift they can enjoy for themselves after completing it or a gift they can create and give to someone else. Keeping the mindset that giving gifts is rewarding besides just getting gifts is something I always try to encourage in my family.

This year I’m going to let my grand kids each work on a cute gift for my mom that will add value to it because it was decorated and given to her by her great grand children. This owl comes with 100 gems, 1 figurine, 2 sets of eyes, 1 book bag clip and string. That gives us plenty of gems to try out when decorating.
Glitter Petz Luna is perfect because she loves owls and she can make this her primary key chain holder or hang it in her room for a memory.

I assigned a section of the owl to each person. Such as, I let the oldest decorate the face and front and back of a wing, the middle child decorate the stomach and back and front of one wing and the youngest child can decorate the back of Luna, Glitter Petz. That way the owl will truly be a gift from all of them and each had the fun of creating it and adding their special touches to the owl. They will get the enjoyment of making a gift and ‘giving’ since that is the true spirit behind Christmas. The Glitter Petz are available at Artsi for $5.99 so it is an affordable gift and one that will not be expensive to mail to my mother for the holidays.

My mom is going to get some key bling this Christmas!
Another great item available on the site is Stickeez Clutch

I think this might be a good item to early gift to my grand-daughter.
She can enjoy decorating it and can even use it when we go out to do some holiday shopping.

She can either follow the legend by the numbers recommended to place the sparkling jewels on the clutch or make her own design and do it her way. She will have 400+ gems to use on this clutch and for the coin purse that comes with it. I think the Stickeez Clutch and Glitter Petz Luna owl are perfect to keep kids busy while anticipating Christmas.

These are cute and fun gifts. I love that you let your kids have a couple of presents leading up to Christmas. Growing up we were allowed to open one early, but not until Christmas Eve!
