Take Me To Your Leader…er I mean…Class Room.

alien eraser

An eraser that is out of this world.

School is back in session and every child is attending in new school clothes with the latest accessories. New school supplies will be proudly shown to friends. There is no fear of friends duplicating these school erasers because they will be handmade by you and your child.
Sculpey clay has developed an eraser clay to mold and use by children.

I made this fun alien and if you would like to make one too then just follow these easy directions and make a variety of fun characters to ride on top of back to school pencils

alien parts

Simple shapes for a fun character

Body
Roll about 1 ¼ inch ball of the color of your choice and shape it like a pear.
Arms
Roll out about ¾ inch ball of same color into a long coil and press into the sides and around where arms touch the body.
Feet
Shape ½ ball of the same color or shake things up and switch to a different color into two triangles and press into the bottom press along where it touches the bottom part of the body and add lines for toes with a tooth pick

Eyes
Make two small circles and press onto top part of body and then add a small dot of different color for the iris on each circle.
Then roll thin coil of same color or your alien’s head and add above the eyes for eyelids
Use the sculpey tool or tooth pick to make a mouth
Take another small thin coil and add the underneath of the bottom of the mouth and press into the mouth area for a lower lip

Nostrils
Poke two holes in center of face for nostrils.

Taking small thin pieces roll out and shape like circles and add as spots over alien.

Poke pencil into the eraser and make it a little larger than needed in case the eraser shrinks while cooking.
Follow cooking instructions on package. You and your child can make a variety of different shape monsters, cars, flowers or what ever your imagination suggests.

All ready for school!

I bought my own clay and did not receive this product from the company. I was just in a creative mood and decided to spread the creativity.
