I was sixteen(16) when I learned how to macrame! I've used the skill through out my life even when macrame faded from the 'popular' fashion statements of the world. It has always been functional for me and I love the natural jute (hemp) look it offers in decorations and in jewelry design. Thirty-four years later I find macrame designs versitile and fascinating.
